To all our SYC Members,
The beginning of our 2026 Cruising Season is here!
Our Cruise Event #1 at Fossil Bay, Sucia Island, April 24 - 26, promises good weather and a chance for a seasonal shakedown of our boats. Sucia is close by Bellingham Marina, Blaine Harbor Marina and all points in between. It will be another opportunity to socialize with fellow SYC members in the laid-back environment of Fossil Bay. There are lots of hiking trails and opportunities for picture taking. Get your dinghy out for tours of adjacent bays. Have Fun!
Nightly moorage is $23 for mooring balls and $1 per foot on the dock. You can purchase a seasonal Parks Pass that waives these fees, but you're still required to register at the ranger station.
We have reserved the covered shelter for our Saturday evening dinner. Co-Hosts for this Event are Bob & Pat Simpson and Bob & Kim Giles. Bring your favorite appetizer to share.
Please go into our website, Events - 2026 Cruises, and register for the Ice Breaker Cruise Event #1 and any other future events you plan to participate in. Your registration helps us prepare food quantities. Also consider Hosting or Co-Hosting a future Cruise Event. It's easy and we can really use your help!
When a Cruise Event is at a marina, it is your responsibility to make your own reservations, but mention you are with the Semiahmoo Yacht Club group.
Clear skies, flat water and tight lines!
